Step 001b: Modding Plan (Refined)
My plan of attack, for the car is... after re-thinking my original goals...Get the car first. Then start getting parts... rims, tires, brake kits, suspension bushings, and the coil-over kit. This would be the suspension/contact upgrade done in one shot, meaning the use of the hydraulic press only once, and bleeding the brakes only once.
While getting the parts, the minor body work will be done, first removal of the dents and then the removal of the swirls. Also minor repairs will be done (driver's side wheel well cover is damaged). After the dents are removed, work on the interior could be started, which includes sound insulation, tinting the windows, and installing the various electronics, and their wiring.
To deal with the immobilzier, I will get the parts needed for the interior, such as the antenna, and replacing the key tumblers with newer ones this is because I plan on using the chip on the new key...also an interior upgrade I forgot to mention was the power kit, which includes power windows and locks.
After the suspension/contact upgrade is done, part collection for the engine swap will commence. once all the parts for the engine swap have been collected... the engine will be swapped.
Once the engine has been swapped. then this blog will take a different direction, or may just end. But you never know
